Great stop on your way to the coast. Great mid way stop. Good chopped beef sandwiches! Always enjoy this place and the prices are right. Way to go Choke Canyon Bar-B-Q!
Just stopped here for drinks and restroom. The line for the lady's was huge! Only 2 out of 5 toilets was working, it was dirty and stinky. The outside of the store looked fine, but the place could use more work. Great place for gas fill up though. I'd rather hold it than use the restrooms there again.
Average food. Overpriced for the value. Clean. Self service on drinks when I was there. Nice staff.
I never post reviews, but this restaurants food was so bad the best thing there were the canned ranch style beans. Other than that the ribs were salty, but most of all the amount of flies was unbelievable. I rate it 1 dead fly out of 5.
Moist, falling apart brisket and turkey. Wonder flavor on the smoked turkey. Very savory. Brisket has great texture and color. Okra was crunchy and fresh like the fries. BBQ sauce is savory with a nice kick of smoky flavor. Highly recommend as I am a native Texan. Wonderful example of Texan food.
